Graffiti Fest 2011 was held today in downtown Modesto, California. It was originally scheduled for the first week in June but was rained out and had to be moved to July. Modesto News .org was there to bring you this music video of the event as part of our American Graffiti music video series. Here is some information about Graffiti Fest from their website: "Graffiti Fest 2011, presented by 209's Hottest and sponsored by Coca Cola, Monster, Vitamin Water and the Boy Scouts (Troop 9). We'll have six blocks in downtown Modesto closed off for car shows, stunts, food vendors, live local music, arts and crafts, face painting and local growers. There'll be a classic and a custom car show. This event is open to all ages and there's no charge for admission. Last year the first Saturday in June was the 6th Annual Street Bike Festival and attracted a large crowd. This year the 7th Annual Street Bike Festival will be held on Saturday July 9th. According to show promoter, Jim Belflower, Graffiti Fest 2011 will be held on the following day (Sunday). Both events will be on both sides of "I" Street on 10th, 11th and 12th Streets in downtown Modesto from 11 am to 5 pm. They will both have a wide array of food vendors, live music, car shows, stunts and much more. Graffiti Fest 2011 had to be cancelled due to the rain.
